NHS Iconography Options

The NHS has developed variation and assurance icons that can be displayed in the SPC chart. For further information on what these icons mean, see the Plot The Dots documentation.

These settings adjust the display and formatting of these icons.

Variation

The options for the NHS variation icons are below:

• Show Variation Icons - Toggle variation icon on or off (default)
• Flag Only Last Point - Toggle whether the variation icon detect patterns in the last point only (default), or use all points in the SPC
• Variation Icon Locations - Set the location of the variation icon in the chart, either Top Right (default), Bottom Right, Top Left, or Bottom Left. Conditional formatting uses the same values.
• Scale Variation Icon Size - Set the size of the variation icon (default is 1)

Assurance

The options for the NHS assurance icons are below:

• Show Assurance Icons - Toggle assurance icon on or off (default)
• Assurance Icon Locations - Set the location of the assurance icon in the chart, either Top Right (default), Bottom Right, Top Left, or Bottom Left. Conditional formatting uses the same values.
• Scale Assurance Icon Size - Set the size of the assurance icon (default is 1)
